Built from community feedback
Over the last year, we've been listening to the Etch community — paying attention to the features that aren't on the roadmap yet, or are low on the priority list.
This plugin lets you start using the most requested enhancements now.
We've packed in as many valuable improvements as possible while keeping everything stable and performant. As Etch evolves and adds more APIs, so will the Enhancer.
Display and edit Gutenberg core blocks in Etch
Enable core heading, paragraph, list, quote and other blocks to be displayed and edited directly in the Etch editor. Add blocks from the Inserter and manage them without leaving the page.
Edit text blocks with consistent key handling
Edit bound component properties inline with improved backspace, enter and modifier key handling across both Etch and Gutenberg blocks.
Use more component property types
Filterable post selectors, media pickers, link dialogs, colour pickers and other input types — giving you and your clients richer, more intuitive property controls.
Show/hide component properties based on their values
Show or hide each component property in Gutenberg or Etch based on the value of other properties. Cleaner interfaces, less confusion for content editors.
Show/hide template for posts in the Etch editor
Toggle the post template on or off in the editor, or edit it directly from the Etch action bar — preview content as it appears on the frontend without switching views.
See component names and descriptions in Gutenberg
Show the actual component name and description — not just "Etch Component" — in Gutenberg list view and sidebar so you always know what you're selecting.
